Attacking midfielder Gadi Kinda announced he is leaving Sporting Kansas City for Maccabi Haifa FC of the Israeli Premier League.
Sporting KC previously announced that the 29-year-old Israeli international, whose contract had expired, was sent a bona fide offer.
Kinda registered 14 goals and 16 assists in 64 MLS matches (48 starts) over three seasons with Sporting KC (2020-21, 2023).
During the 2023 MLS Cup Playoffs, he tallied a goal and two assists in a 4-1 road upset against St. Louis City SC on Oct. 29.
Kinda’s departure leaves SKC with an open designated player spot to fill for the 2024 MLS season, which starts on Feb. 24 against the host Houston Dynamo.
