Inter Miami signed defender Gonzalo Lujan to a contract on Thursday that spans through the 2027 season with an option for 2028.
Financial terms were not disclosed by the Herons for Lujan, who previously played for Argentine top-flight side San Lorenzo.
Lujan, 23, made 97 career appearances for San Lorenzo and 15 for Argentina’s under-23 squad.
“Bringing in a young and versatile defender like Gonzalo Lujan will be important for the upcoming 2025 season,” Inter Miami president of football operations Raul Sanllehi said.
“He provides our first team squad with quality depth and reinforces our defensive unit, while his versatility will be a valuable asset as he can perform in several positions across the back line.”
