The New York Red Bulls re-signed veteran defender Tim Parker on Friday for the 2026 season with an option through June 2027.
Parker, 32, recorded one goal in 13 regular season matches (10 starts) during his second stint with the Red Bulls in 2025.
“Tim is a great leader both on and off the field and we are pleased to have him back in our locker room,” NYRB head of sport Julian de Guzman said. “He is a great human being, and we are looking forward to having him on the field, helping our club pursue its goals next season.”
He has seven goals and four assists in 287 MLS games (270 starts) with the Vancouver Whitecaps (2015-17), Red Bulls (2018-20, 2025), Houston Dynamo (2021-22), St. Louis City (2023-24) and New England Revolution (2024).
Parker was an MLS All-Star and Best XI selection with St. Louis in 2023. He won a Supporters’ Shield with New York in 2018.
“We are excited to keep Tim at the club. He drives the standards in the locker room, and he shows tremendous leadership,” Red Bulls coach Michael Bradley said. “Having him continue with the club is a great boost for our group.”
