The New York Red Bulls traded midfielder Dru Yearwood to Nashville SC on Monday.
The Red Bulls received $75,000 in general allocation money for 2024 plus an additional $75,000 in 2025 if certain contractual conditions are met.
Yearwood played in 20 MLS matches (11 starts) for New York during the 2023 season, with eight total scoring attempts and one shot on target.
The 23-year-old Englishman had three goals and three assists in 86 matches (55 starts) with NYRB since 2020.
“We want to thank Dru for his four seasons with our organization. The positive energy he brought everyday was amazing,” Red Bulls head of sport Jochen Schneider said in a news release. “Dru is a great human being and we are wishing him well in his next opportunity.”
Yearwood originally joined New York from England’s Brentford FC on Aug. 5, 2020.
