New England Revolution midfielder Emmanuel Boateng signed a one-year contract through the season with an additional club option for the 2024 campaign.
Financial terms were not disclosed for the 29-year-old Boateng, who recorded two goals and three assists in 27 matches (eight starts) last season.
“We are pleased to have Ema re-sign with the Revolution,” New England sporting director and head coach Bruce Arena said. “Ema has been a great contributor to our team both on and off the field, and I’m excited to have him return to our club.”
A 2020 MLS Cup champion with Columbus, Boateng has totaled 13 goals and 21 assists in 160 career MLS matches (80 starts) with the Los Angeles Galaxy (2016-19), D.C. United (2019), Crew (2020) and Revolution.
