The New England Revolution signed 17-year-old midfielder Cristiano Oliveira as a homegrown player on Wednesday.
The Massachusetts native is under contract through December 2029 with an option through December 2030.
Oliveira recorded five goals and three assists in 35 matches over the 2024-25 seasons with Revolution II. He made his first-team debut last May in the U.S. Open Cup and scored the winning goal in a 2-1 defeat of Rhode Island FC.
“Cristiano Oliveira is a hard-working young man from an incredible family, and his story is a shining example of what our pro player pathway is all about,” Revs sporting director Curt Onalfo said.
“We believe that he has a high ceiling and we are ready to invest all our resources to help him reach his full potential and become an impactful player for our team. We look forward to working with Cristiano,” head coach Marko Mitrovic added.
The Revs open the 2026 MLS season on Feb. 21 at Nashville SC.
