Peyton Miller and Carles Gil each scored two goals to help the New England Revolution earn a 4-2 victory over Orlando City SC on Saturday night in Foxborough, Mass.

The teams were deadlocked at 2-2 entering stoppage time when Miller scored on a left-footed shot from the right side of the box, assisted by Ilay Feingold in the 93rd minute. Three minutes later, Gil tacked on his team-leading 12th goal of the season to seal the win.

Dor Turgeman had two assists for New England (14-8-4, 46 points), which won its third straight and leapfrogged Inter Miami for the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference. Matt Turner made three saves for the Revolution, who outshot Orlando 17-9.

Ivan Angulo and Martin Ojeda each scored for Orlando (10-12-4, 34 points), which had its three-game winning streak snapped. The visitors lost for the first time since Aug. 19, ending a five-game unbeaten stretch (4-0-1).

After Turgeman and Miller missed early attempts, New England found the back of the net in the 19th minute. Gil dribbled to his left and chipped in the game’s first goal from just outside the box.

Orlando had chances to even the score in the 22nd and 28th minutes, but Turner saved attempts from Ojeda and Marco Pasalic.

New England outshot Orlando 9-3 in the first half while winning the possession battle with more than 62%.

Miller doubled the New England lead in the 59th minute, as Turgeman assisted on the 18-year-old’s seventh goal of the year.

Orlando cut its deficit in half in the 62nd minute, as Angulo fired a right-footed shot past a diving Turner.

In the 88th minute, VAR determined that Miller committed a handball in the box. Ojeda took the penalty kick and scored to even the game before Miller redeemed himself with the go-ahead goal.
