Real Salt Lake have completed the acquisition of striker Cristian “Chicho” Arango from Liga MX side Pachuca.
The deal announced Saturday runs through the 2025 MLS season and includes an option for 2026.
Financial terms were not disclosed, but The Athletic reported a transfer fee of $6 million for Arango.
The 28-year-old Colombia native will fill a designated player spot once the secondary transfer window opens on July 5.
Arango returns to MLS after notching 30 goals and seven assists in 51 games for Los Angeles FC from 2021-22.
Arango’s earliest debut for Real Salt Lake would be on July 8 at home against Orlando City SC.
