Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo has been ruled out of Sunday’s game against the visiting Phoenix Suns due to a left hamstring injury.
Antetokounmpo, 29, averages 30.8 points per game this season, which ranks third in the NBA entering play on Sunday. The two-time NBA MVP also is contributing 11.2 rebounds and 6.4 assists in 64 games (all starts) this season for the Bucks (43-24).
While Antetokounmpo will sit out on Sunday, the Bucks will see the return of Khris Middleton. The All-Star forward has been sidelined by a left ankle sprain since sustaining the injury against the Suns on Feb. 6.
Middleton, 32, has scored 14.8 points to go along with 4.3 rebounds and 5.0 assists in 43 games (all starts) this season.
