Chicago Bulls forward Patrick Williams received a platelet rich plasma injection to treat tendinosis in his right knee and will be re-evaluated in two weeks, the team announced Thursday.
In his last game on Feb. 12, Williams collected three points and one rebound in 18 minutes in Chicago’s 128-110 win over the Detroit Pistons.
Williams, 23, is averaging 9.1 points and 4.0 rebounds in 45 games (35 starts) this season.
He is contributing 9.6 points and 4.1 boards in 258 career games (210 starts) since being selected by the Bulls with the fourth overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft.
