Veteran NBA center Boban Marjanovic has reached an agreement to join Turkish power Fenerbahce, multiple outlets reported.
The 7-foot-4 fan favorite played nine seasons with six NBA teams, averaging 5.5 points and 3.6 rebounds in 331 games (25 starts) with the San Antonio Spurs, Detroit Pistons, Los Angeles Clippers, Philadelphia 76ers, Dallas Mavericks and Houston Rockets.
Marjanovic, 36, averaged 3.2 points, 2.3 rebounds and 5.1 minutes in 14 games off the Rockets’ bench last season.
The Serbia native has previous EuroLeague experience, having played for Russia’s CSKA Moscow, Lithuania’s Zalgiris and Serbia’s Crvena zvezda before joining the Spurs in 2015.
