NBA G League Ignite forward Matas Buzelis officially declared for the 2024 NBA Draft on Friday.
The 6-foot-10 Chicago native confirmed the news to ESPN, which ranks him No. 6 in its Top 100 draft prospects.
Buzelis, 19, averaged 14.1 points and 6.6 rebounds in 26 games (all starts) for the Ignite in 2023-24.
A consensus five-star recruit, Buzelis opted to join the NBA’s feeder program despite offers from Kentucky, Florida State, Arizona, Wake Forest and more.
He was named the 2022-23 Gatorade Player of the Year in Kansas after starring at Sunrise Christian Academy.
