Jalen Johnson scored 14 of his 26 points in the fourth quarter to help the Atlanta Hawks overcome an 11-point deficit and beat the visiting Brookly Nets 115-104 on Sunday.

Atlanta has won two of its last three and has won both games so far against the Nets. Brooklyn has lost four straight games and 22 of its last 27.

The Hawks trailed 102-91 with eight minutes remaining and outscored the Nets 24-2 from there. Atlanta took the lead 105-104 on a 3-pointer by C.J. McCollum and Johnson extended the lead with a three-point play and another basket. The Nets were 6-for-22 from the field in the final quarter and did not score in the final 5:19.

Johnson finished 11-for-22 from the field with 12 rebounds for his 38th double-double. Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Jock Landale each scored 17 and McCollum had 16 points and eight assists.

Michael Porter Jr. led the Nets with 18 points, seven rebounds and six assists and Nic Claxton scored 15 with eight rebounds and five assists. Porter was scoreless in the final quarter.

Atlanta led by as many as seven points but finished the first quarter with a 32-30 lead. The Hawks built an eight-point lead at 44-36 in the second period, only to have the Nets go on a 13-0 run and take a five-point lead. The Hawks recovered and, with Corey Kispert scoring nine points in the quarter, took a 60-56 lead at halftime.

The teams continued to exchange the lead in the third quarter, which featured five ties and four lead changes, with Atlanta holding an 89-87 lead entering the fourth quarter.

The Nets, thanks to a 17-2 run that included a pair of 3-pointers from Terance Mann, led 102-91 — their biggest lead of the game — with 8:01 remaining.

The Nets were without Ziaire Williams (personal reasons). Atlanta was missing Jonathan Kuminga, a trade deadline acquisition who has been out with a left knee bone bruise. Kuminga will be re-evaluated this week and could be activated before the end of the homestand.
