Utah guard Keyonte George exited the Jazz’s Monday game against the visiting Washington Wizards due to an illness and will not return.
George drew the start and played just six minutes of the first quarter before his departure. Listed as questionable before the game due to illness, he didn’t score and had one rebound and one assist.
Entering Tuesday, the 20-year-old rookie had averaged 12.2 points, 2.8 rebounds and 4.5 assists in 55 games (24 starts) this season.
George was a first-round selection (16th overall) by Utah in the 2023 draft.
