Karl-Anthony Towns posted another double-double Sunday night for the host New York Knicks, who remained perfect at home with a wire-to-wire 134-98 win over the Brooklyn Nets.

Towns had 28 points and 12 rebounds for the Knicks, who have won the first four games of a season-long seven-game homestand to improve to 6-0 at Madison Square Garden this season. New York is 0-3 on the road.

The double-double was the eighth of the season for Towns and his 66th in 81 regular season games since he was acquired by the Knicks on Oct. 2, 2024.

He hit 10-of-15 field goal attempts from inside and all eight free throw attempts. He missed both 3-point field goal attempts, but the other New York starters knocked down 11-of-19.

Jalen Brunson and OG Anunoby scored 19 points apiece for the Knicks, who scored their second-most points of the season while allowing their second-fewest points of the campaign. New York shot 54.5%, including 45.9% (17-of-37) from 3-point land, while limiting the Nets to 40.2% shooting, including 31.1% (14-of-45) from beyond the arc.

Mikal Bridges contributed 16 points while Jordan Clarkson and Josh Hart added 11 points apiece off the bench.

Brunson added a game-high seven assists as the Knicks amassed 31 in the contest.

Michael Porter Jr. scored 25 points for the Nets, who have lost nine of their first 10 this season. Drake Powell had 15 points while fellow reserve Ziaire Williams finished with 13 points. Nic Claxton collected 12 points while Egor Demin and Day’Ron Sharpe added 10 points apiece.

The Knicks scored the first eight points of the game and never led by fewer than five thereafter. Brunson and Anunoby combined for all the points in a quarter-ending 11-0 run that extended New York’s lead to 40-22.

The Knicks led 77-62 at the half and ended any hopes of a Nets’ comeback by opening the third quarter with a 12-0 run. Hart’s jumper with 4:23 left in the period put New York ahead by 30 points for good at 100-70.

The Knicks led by as many as 39 in the fourth, when their backups played the final eight-plus minutes.
