Sacramento Kings forward Keegan Murray is expected to be sidelined three-to-four weeks after sustaining a moderate left ankle sprain, the team announced Tuesday.
Murray sustained the injury during the third quarter of the Kings’ 115-98 setback to the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday. He had 12 points in 27 minutes before departing.
Signed to a five-year, $140 million contract extension, Murray is averaging 14.6 points and 6.1 assists in 19 games (18 starts) this season.
Murray, 25, is averaging 13.4 points and 5.6 boards in 252 career games (249 starts) since being selected by the Kings with the fourth overall pick of the 2022 NBA Draft.
