Watson was a second-round pick by the Boston Celtics in the 2024 NBA Draft. He signed a two-way contract with the team. However, he appeared only in G-League games for the franchise. In 21 games for the Maine Celtics, he averaged 12.0 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 2.1 assists.
The New York Knicks claimed him off waivers. He made his NBA debut with the team, appearing in nine games. In 22 total minutes, he scored eight points (4-9 FG, 0-1 3PT) to along with three rebounds, two assists, and one steals.
Williams has more NBA experience, playing in 47 total games over the last three seasons for both the Portland Trail Blazers (2022-23) and Houston Rockets (2023-25). For his career, the guard is averaging 3.9 points in 7.4 minutes per game.
In 2023, he started a game against the Golden State Warriors and scored a career-high 17 points (7-12 FG, 1-2 3PT, 2-2 FT).
