Los Angeles Lakers star forward LeBron James is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the visiting Portland Trail Blazers due to a left calf contusion.
James was injured during the first quarter of Friday’s 122-119 victory over the Phoenix Suns. He hit by the knee of the Suns’ Kevin Durant while driving to the hoop.
James played 36 minutes in the contest and had 32 points, 11 rebounds and six assists. But afterward, he admitted that the leg was really sore.
James is averaging 25.2 points, 8.4 rebounds and 5.4 assists in nine games this season for Los Angeles (4-5).
Lakers big man Anthony Davis (hip, adductor) is probable. Davis sat out a 128-94 road loss to the Houston Rockets on Wednesday before having 18 points and 11 rebounds against Phoenix.
