Pacers extend win streak by mounting comeback over Jazz

Pascal Siakam scored 22 points to lead the visiting Indiana Pacers to their fourth straight victory, a come-from-behind 112-111 win over the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City on Monday night.

Siakam made 8 of 14 shots, including a game-clinching dunk in the final seconds, and Tyrese Haliburton added 18 points as the Pacers improved to 12-2 since the calendar flipped to 2025.

Indiana overcame a 12-point deficit in the final six minutes to win its sixth straight road game.

John Collins totaled 21 points and 12 rebounds for Utah. Jordan Clarkson netted 21 points, Keyonte George added 16 points and 11 assists, and Isaiah Collier chipped in 11 points and 10 assists, but the Jazz lost for the ninth time in 10 outings.

Walker Kessler had 13 rebounds and three blocks, and Lauri Markkanen scored 16 for Utah.

The Jazz, who were looking to win back-to-back games at home for the first time this season, dropped to 4-18 at the Delta Center after leading for most of the night.

Utah was seemingly cruising toward a win until the Pacers made their big push. Indiana went on a 14-1 run and edged ahead 103-102 after a step-back jumper by Siakam with just over three minutes left.

The teams traded leads a couple of times until Haliburton put Indiana up for good with a 3-pointer with 59 seconds to go. Aaron Nesmith set up that go-ahead bucket up by stealing the ball from Clarkson.

Nesmith and Obi Toppin each scored 13 for the Pacers, while Andrew Nembhard added 10 points and eight assists.

Utah had a chance to tie it with 17 seconds left when Markkanen missed the first of two free throw attempts and was called for a lane violation on the second.

Nesmith then sank two free throws for a four-point Indiana lead with 12 seconds remaining.

Kessler cut that lead to two with 7.1 seconds left, but Siakam then gave Indiana a four-point cushion with a dunk.

George made things interesting by hitting a 3-pointer with 3.2 seconds remaining. Clarkson tapped away the inbounds pass beyond midcourt, but the Jazz couldn’t get a shot off.

The Jazz used a 17-0 run in the first quarter to seize control early. Utah led 32-24 after the first quarter, 61-57 at halftime and 88-83 after three.
