Pacers forward Obi Toppin was sidelined for a short time during Indiana’s home game against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday night after spraining his left ankle in the first quarter.
Toppin slipped while trying to pull up for an elbow jumper 8:22 into the contest and limped to the sideline before falling to the floor in pain. He had to be helped to the locker room and was listed as questionable to return before he re-entered the game with 6:05 left in the second quarter.
As of Thursday, Toppin, 26, averages 10.7 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 29 games off the bench for Indiana (15-15) this season.
