Toronto Raptors rookie guard Ja’Kobe Walter will miss at least one week after aggravating a right shoulder injury, the team announced Friday.
Walter re-sprained the shoulder in the third quarter on Wednesday as the Raptors fell 122-107 to the host Sacramento Kings. He didn’t play in the fourth quarter.
In eight minutes off the bench against the Kings, Walter had two points and one rebound. He is averaging 2.5 points and 2.8 rebounds in 12.3 minutes per contest in four games for Toronto.
The Raptors selected Walter, 20, with the 19th overall pick in this year’s draft out of Baylor.
