Bronny James reportedly will only play in home games for the NBA G League’s South Bay Lakers.
An ESPN reporter told the “Hoop Collective” podcast this week that the rookie guard is “not getting on United Airlines to fly to those road games.”
James, 20, made his G League debut on Saturday with six points in a 110-96 victory over the Salt Lake City Stars in El Segundo, Calif.
The Lakers selected him with the No. 55 overall selection in the 2024 NBA Draft. He has played in four games this season, including the Oct. 22 opener in which he and his dad, LeBron James, became the first father-son tandem to play in an NBA game together.
