Boston Celtics guard Payton Pritchard agreed to a four-year, $30 million contract extension, ESPN reported on Sunday.
The deal, which is fully guaranteed, will begin at the start of the 2024-25 season.
Pritchard, 25, averaged 5.6 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 48 games (three starts) last season.
He has contributed averages of 6.6 points, 2.1 boards and 1.7 assists in 185 career games (nine starts). He was selected by Boston with the 26th overall pick of the 2020 NBA Draft out of Oregon.
The Celtics played the Philadelphia 76ers in a preseason game later Sunday, and Pritchard led all scorers with 26 points. He made 9 of 14 shots from the field, going 6-for-11 from 3-point range.
