Free agent guard Austin Rivers hosted a workout in Orlando, Fla., on Wednesday with an estimated 10 to 15 NBA teams on hand, NBA on TNT reported.
Rivers, 31, appeared in 52 games last season for the Minnesota Timberwolves, his seventh NBA team since being selected 10th overall by New Orleans in the 2012 NBA Draft. His goal is to return to the NBA.
He averaged 4.9 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 19.5 minutes per game in his only season with the Timberwolves.
His best season came in 2017-18 when he averaged 15.1 points, 2.4 rebounds and 4.0 assists with the Los Angeles Clippers over 61 games (59 starts).
Rivers has career averages of 8.5 points, 2.0 assists and 2.1 rebounds in 707 games (184 starts).
