The Miami Heat and All-Star center Bam Adebayo are in agreement on a three-year max extension worth $166 million, The Athletic reported Wednesday.
The deal would kick in for the 2026-27 season and keep the five-time All-Defensive player in Miami through the 2028-29 campaign. Adebayo is set to make $34.85 million this upcoming season and $37.1 million in 2025-26, according to Spotrac.
Coming off his third All-Star season, the 6-foot-9 Adebayo has averaged 15.4 points, 8.7 rebounds and 3.5 assists in 489 career games (385 starts) for the Heat, who selected him No. 14 overall in the 2017 draft.
