The Sacramento Kings will listen to offers for star point guard De’Aaron Fox before the Feb. 6 trade deadline, ESPN reported Tuesday.
The 27-year-old former All-Star will likely have multiple suitors, however the report claimed that he “has a target destination in mind ahead of 2026 free agency.”
Fox is playing in the fourth season of a five-year, $163 million max extension signed in November 2020. He carries a $37.1 million cap hit for the 2025-26 campaign.
He is averaging 25.2 points, 6.2 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 1.5 steals through 43 starts this season, his eighth with the Kings since being drafted with the fifth overall pick in 2017.
An All-Star in 2022-23, Fox has career averages of 21.5 points, 6.1 assists, 3.9 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 512 games (498 starts).
