The San Antonio Spurs and guard Devin Vassell agreed to a five-year, $146 million contract extension on Monday, ESPN reported.
Vassell, 23, is the sixth player in the 2020 draft class to sign a rookie-scale contract extension.
He was limited to 38 games (32 starts) in 2022-23 due to a knee injury but posted a career-best 18.5 points per game and 3.6 assists per game while shooting 43.9 percent from the field and 38.7 percent from 3-point range.
The Spurs selected Vassell 11th overall in 2020 out of Florida State. In 171 career games (71 starts), he has averaged 11.2 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.9 assists per contest.
