Stephen Curry used five 3-pointers to account for a majority of his 28 points and the Golden State Warriors remained unbeaten at home with a 118-107 victory over the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday night in San Francisco.

Moses Moody led a productive Golden State bench effort with 24 points. Reserves Brandin Podziemski (13) and Buddy Hield (12) also scored in double figures, helping the Warriors snap a two-game losing streak while resting Al Horford for the entire game and Jimmy Butler III for the second half on the opening night of a back-to-back set.

Coming off consecutive road defeats, the Warriors appeared on their way to a blowout win when they raced out to a 25-point lead in the first half. However, the Suns, riding a two-game winning streak, refused to go away.

Down 19 with 7:03 remaining, Phoenix ran off the next 10 points, a run that included 3-pointers by Ryan Dunn and Grayson Allen, to make it a game at 110-101 with 5:04 to play.

The Suns got as close as 113-105 on a Devin Booker jumper with 3:35 to go. Curry stalled the rally by making three consecutive free throws, one of which was given when injured Dillon Brooks was assessed a technical foul from the visitors’ bench.

In improving to 4-0 at home, the Warriors beat the Suns at their own game, shooting 19-for-42 (45.2%) from 3-point range. Phoenix, which hadn’t been outscored from deep by any of its first seven opponents, finished at 12-for-33 (36.4%).

Moody joined Curry in sinking five 3-pointers for the Warriors. Quinten Post used four long-range connections in six tries as the foundation for 14 points, which Hield buried three treys.

Warriors reserves outscored their Phoenix counterparts 63-19.

Golden State’s Draymond Green chipped in with a game-high eight assists and six rebounds, the latter tying Post for team-high honors.

Booker was the game’s leading scorer with 38 points, shooting 13-for-24 overall and 11-for-11 at the free-throw line.

Mark Williams had the game’s only double-double with a game-high 16 rebounds to complement 16 points. Allen had 16 points to go with a team-high five assists and three steals. Dunn was a fourth Suns starter in double figures with 10 points.
