The Minnesota Timberwolves are converting center Luka Garza’s two-way deal to a standard contract.
Garza’s agents from Klutch Sports confirmed the news with The Athletic on Thursday.
Garza, 25, scored 16 points in nine minutes in Wednesday’s 133-85 victory against the Toronto Raptors.
Splitting time in the G League this season, Garza is averaging 4.2 points and 1.2 rebounds in 21 games off the Minnesota bench this season.
The contract move qualifies Garza for the playoff roster for the Timberwolves (53-23), currently tied atop the Western Conference with the defending champion Denver Nuggets.
