Latrell Wrightsell Jr. made six 3-pointers in the second half, helping Alabama secure a 93-74 Southeastern Conference win over Ole Miss in Oxford, Miss.

Wrightsell Jr. finished with a team-high 21 points, hitting 7 of 13 from behind the arc, tying a career-high for made threes. Labaron Philon Jr. finished with 18 points, Aiden Sherrell added 15, Amari Allen tallied 13 and Aden Holloway contributed 12 for the Crimson Tide.

Alabama (17-7, 7-4 SEC) won its third consecutive game and sixth in eight outings, while Ole Miss (11-13, 3-8) dropped its sixth in a row, tying its longest losing streak since the 2022-23 season.

Ole Miss guard AJ Storr led all scorers and tied a season high with 27 points. Eduardo Klafke scored 12 points and added a game-high nine rebounds.

Alabama converted 12 of 22 from behind the arc in the second half and ended the game at 17 of 45 (37.8%). The Tide have buried 12 or more 3-pointers in five consecutive games.

Wrightsell, Jr., Sherrell and Allen knocked down 3-pointers in the opening stages of the second half, leading a Crimson Tide 13-6 run which extended a 32-30 halftime lead to 45-36.

Wrightsell Jr. buried back-to-back treys to push the advantage to 59-44 at the midpoint of the half.

The Rebels, who were playing their first home game since Jan. 20, rallied and cut the deficit to 62-54 on a Klafke jumper with 7:36 remaining, but Wrightsell Jr. hit a 3-pointer off an out-of-bounds set on the next possession, and the Rebels did not close within eight points for the rest of the game.

Alabama, which scored its season-low 32 points in the first half, outscored Ole Miss 61-44 in the final 20 minutes.

Led by Storr, the Rebels built a 20-11 lead with 9:10 remaining in the first half. Storr connected on his first five shots from the floor, but picked up his second foul nearly a minute later and went to the bench until late in the half.

Alabama capitalized as the Rebels missed ten straight field goal attempts, and the Tide used their free-throw skills to eventually overtake the hosts. Philon Jr. hit a trey to give Alabama its first lead since the third minute of play at 30-27 with 1:44 left in the half.

Alabama started the game 4 of 24 from the floor and misfired on 17 of its first 19 3-point attempts, but made 11 of 12 free throws. Conversely, Ole Miss missed four of six free throws in the first half.

Storr, who came off the bench, led all first-half scorers with 13 points.

Alabama played without center Charles Bediako, the former G League player who had averaged 10.0 points over the last five games for the Tide. A Tuscaloosa circuit court judge denied Bediako’s motion for a preliminary injunction on Monday to allow him to continue his season at Alabama.
