Anthony Roy scored 27 points and Vyctorius Miller added 18 as Oklahoma State fought off a sluggish first half to defeat Bethune-Cookman 103-77 Monday in a nonconference game in Stillwater, Okla.

The Cowboys (12-1) outscored the Wildcats (3-10) 53-39 in the second half for the comfortable win.

Roy was 5 of 10 from the floor, 2 of 6 from the 3-point line and 15 of 15 from the free throw line.

Miller made 5 of 8 shots from the floor, 2 of 3 3-pointers and was 6 of 7 from the line.

Parsa Fallah scored 12 points for the Cowboys and pulled down a team-high 10 rebounds.

Oklahoma State hit 47% of its shots from the floor (32-of-68).

Quentin Heady led the Wildcats with 17 points and Daniel Rouzan and Jakobi Heady both had 16.

The Cowboys expanded a 12-point halftime lead by going on a 8-2 run right after halftime.

Miller hit a 3-pointer and Roy completed a three-point play for a 68-47 lead.

Miller was then fouled on a 3-point attempt and hit all three free throws to make it 71-47 with 14:41 left.

The Cowboys struggled to shake the Wildcats for much of the first half, before a late run allowed them some breathing room at 50-38 at halftime.

Oklahoma State shot just 46% from the floor (18 of 39) and were off from the 3-point line, making just 2 of 9.

The Wildcats weren’t burning up the nets either, shooting 46% from the floor (12 of 26) and making 3 of 12 3-point attempts.

The Cowboys defense came through, however, forcing nine turnovers while making just three themselves.

Roy led the Cowboys in scoring in the first half with 11 points and Miller had 10.

The Cowboys finally took the lead for good when Kanye Clary hit a pair of free throws and Isaiah Coleman dunked off a Clary assist for a 25-21 lead with 10:32 left in the half.

Two minutes later, the Cowboys went on an 11-2 run to open up a double-digit lead.

A pair of Jaylen Curry free throws and a Roy layup made it 38-26 with 6:18 left in the half.
