Brayden Burries tied a career high with 28 points with nine rebounds and Motiejus Krivas finished with a career-best 25 points and 12 rebounds to lead No. 1 Arizona to a 101-76 victory Wednesday night over Kansas State at Tucson, Ariz.

Arizona (15-0, 2-0 Big 12) is off to its best start in since beginning 21-0 in 2013-14.

Peat also had 15 points, giving him his third double-double of the season.

Arizona outrebounded Kansas State 55-32 and scored more in the paint by a total of 56-36.

The dominance inside made up for a 3 of 16 shooting performance from 3-point range.

Kansas State, which also struggled from beyond the arc (8 of 36), was led by PJ Haggerty’s 19 points and seven assists.

Nate Johnson had 15 points and Doran Buca 12.

Burries had 16 points on 7-of-10 shooting from the field with seven rebounds by halftime, when Arizona led 51-36.

Krivas had 12 points at the half after making all six of his free-throw attempts. He also had six rebounds at that point.

Arizona, which was third in the nation entering the day with a plus-14.6 rebounding margin, led 30-13 on the boards in the first half.

Arizona did not trail after taking a 19-6 lead with 13:41 left in the first half following a 15-2 run.

Kansas State went 3:47 without a made field goal, allowing Arizona to build a 50-30 lead with 2:19 remaining in the half.

A 5-of-6 shooting performance from the field to start the second half helped Kansas State cut the lead to 58-49 with 16:11 left.

Arizona responded with a 10-2 run capped by a fast-break layup by Bradley and dunk in transition by Burries.

Burries made Arizona’s first 3-pointer after nine failed attempts with 11:33 left to put Arizona ahead 72-57.

A 14-0 run by Arizona in which Kansas State missed seven consecutive shots from the field, increased the lead to 92-65 with 3:31 left.
