Dailyn Swain scored 15 of his team-high 20 points in the second half as Texas rallied for a 79-69 Southeastern Conference victory over Oklahoma on Saturday in Norman, Okla.

Swain added 10 rebounds and six assists for the Longhorns (13-9, 4-5) while scoring at least 20 points for the fourth consecutive game. Camren Heide added 13 points while Jordan Pope and Matas Vokietaitus scored 12 each.

Texas, which trailed by 14 in the first half and six with eight minutes to play, shot 75% in the second half and 60% overall. It was the Longhorns’ best shooting performance in an SEC game since March 9, 2024, against Oklahoma.

Nijel Pack scored 23 points for the Sooners (11-11, 1-8) as their losing streak stretched to eight, their longest since 2010-11. Xzayvier Brown and Derrion Reid added 15 apiece.

For the third time in its last five games, Oklahoma jumped out to a double-digit first-half lead. Pack scored eight points as Oklahoma led 17-4 less than six minutes into the game.

The Longhorns were just 3 of 14 from the field to start the game and didn’t reach double figures until Matas Vokietaitis’ layup with 8:44 left in the first half.

That started a run where Texas hit nine consecutive shots. The Longhorns went on a 21-7 run and tied the game in the final minute before Brown hit a 3-pointer to give Oklahoma a 33-30 lead at halftime.

The Longhorns kept their offensive momentum going into the second half, starting 8 of 12 coming out of the break. Texas took its first lead of the game on Swain’s free throws just more than four minutes into the second.

Moments later, Pack found Reid for a 3-pointer to put the Sooners back on top.

The Sooners recovered to take a 6-point lead midway through the half, but the Longhorns stayed hot offensively to close the gap quickly.

Texas took the lead for good on Simeon Wilcher’s 3-pointer with 5:34 to play. Wilcher’s shot started a stretch that saw the Longhorns outscore Oklahoma 17-6 the rest of the way.

Oklahoma (11-11, 1-8) led Arkansas by 13 in the first half of its previous game and Alabama by 11 at halftime on Jan. 17.

But just like in those games, the Sooners wilted in the second half.
