John Tonje had 15 points and Max Klesmit added 13 as No. 21 Wisconsin built an early lead and rolled to its 21st consecutive victory at home over Indiana, 76-64, in a Big Ten matchup Tuesday night in Madison, Wis.
Nolan Winter added 12 points and Carter Gilmore scored 10 for Wisconsin (18-5, 8-4 Big Ten).
Mackenzie Mgbako had 15 points and Luke Goode 11 for Indiana (14-9, 5-7), which has lost four straight and six of its last seven.
Wisconsin jumped out to a 19-2 lead, hitting six of its first seven shots, including five of six beyond the arc.
The Badgers led 40-28 at the half and pushed the margin to 51-32 on a three-point play by Klesmit as the Hoosiers went more than five minutes without a field goal.
Klesmit hit two free throws to put Wisconsin up 70-47 with 4:36 left.
Dating back to last season, Wisconsin is 30-1 while holding opponents to 70 points or fewer, including 13-1 this season.
Wisconsin, which entered No. 1 in the nation in free-throw percentage with 84.65 percent, was just 12 of 17 from the line. The Badgers were 12 of 29 from 3-point range, while the Hoosiers were just 7 of 27.
Wisconsin also scored 18 points off 11 Indiana turnovers.
Indiana’s last win in Madison was Jan. 25, 1998, the inaugural season at the Kohl Center.
The Badgers pushed their early lead to 24-4 on Gilmore’s 3-pointer just over six minutes into the game.
Indiana hit five of six shots over a three-minute span, pulling within 33-20.
The Badgers cooled off, but still finished the first half at 45.2 percent, including 9 of 16 from deep.
