Kansas State outrebounded the Coyotes 25-13 in the first half.

The Wildcats used a 21-4 run early in the first half to build a 29-11 lead. The Coyotes would not get within 15 the rest of the half.

A Fens layup cut Kansas State’s lead to 19-9 with 14:32 left, but the Wildcats took over from there.

Castillo started the run with a layup and C.J. Jones followed with a 3-pointer for a 24-9 lead.

After a Fens dunk, Castillo scored on a layup and Abdi Bashir Jr. hit a 3-pointer for an 18-point lead with 11:50 left.

Haggerty gave Kansas State its first 20-point lead at 35-15 with a layup with 9:34 left.
