Central Arkansas will name Alabama Huntsville head men’s basketball coach John Shulman as its new head coach, The Field of 68 reported.
An official announcement is expected Monday, per the report.
Shulman, 57, would replace Anthony Boone, who was dismissed March 2 after Central Arkansas posted a 9-23 (5-11 Atlantic Sun Conference) record in the 2023-24 season.
Shulman was the head coach at Chattanooga from 2004-13 and had a 145-146 record with two NCAA Tournament appearances.
At Alabama Hunstville of the Gulf South Conference, a Division II program, Shulman has a 112-39 overall record in five seasons. The Chargers were 21-11 in the 2023-24 season, including a 17-7 mark in league play.
