Brayden Burries had 20 points to lead a balanced scoring effort for No. 1 Arizona, which dominated Bethune-Cookman 107-71 on Monday night at Tucson, Ariz.

All eight of Arizona’s rotation players scored at least nine points, and seven of them scored in double figures.

Motiejus Krivas, who had 14 points, made 10 of 11 shots from the free-throw line. He was joined by Ivan Kharchenkov with 14 points, with Tobe Awaka and Dwayne Aristode adding 12 apiece.

Arizona (12-0) is off to the best start in Tommy Lloyd’s five seasons as head coach and is 12-0 for the first time since the 2014-15 season.

The Wildcats also earned their seventh straight victory by at least 20 points, the longest such streak in the nation.

Arizona, which never trailed, built a 19-10 lead after nine straight points, five by Awaka.

Bethune-Cookman (3-9), which was led by Jordan Johnson’s 18 points, answered with a 9-2 run to cut the lead to 21-19 with 8:59 left in the first half.

A 12-0 run that included Bethune-Cookman committing five turnovers put Arizona ahead 42-26 with 2:45 remaining in the half.

Bethune-Cookman committed 14 turnovers by halftime, contributing to 24 points for Arizona.

Arizona reserve Mabil Mawut was given a technical foul from the bench and ejected with 2:23 left in the first half after he stepped to the baseline and yelled when Tyler Andrews made a 3-pointer in front of him.

The two free throws made by Jakobi Heady cut the lead to 42-33. Bethune-Cookman did not get closer than that the rest of the game.

Arizona scored the first six points of the second half to push the lead to 55-35.

After Andrews made a 3-pointer with 16:27 left to cut the lead to 57-44, Arizona went on an 11-1 run to pull away for good.

Arizona shot 57.1% from the field, including a 70% clip in the second half. The Wildcats made all six of their 3-point attempts after halftime and were 9 of 17 from beyond the arc.
