Georgia’s ground game remains a question mark heading into the Southeastern Conference championship game against Texas in Atlanta on Saturday, as three Bulldogs running backs are listed as questionable.
The availability of Trevor Etienne, Branson Robinson and Chauncey Bowens is uncertain per the SEC’s Friday night injury report.
Etienne sat out the past three games for the fifth-ranked Bulldogs (10-2) due to a rib injury.
Etienne is Georgia’s second-leading rusher with 477 yards and seven touchdowns on 95 carries in eight games this season. He also has 23 catches for 140 yards.
When Georgia won at then-No. 1 Texas on Oct. 19, Etienne ran 19 times for 87 yards and three TDs, while adding three receptions for 23 yards.
Robinson (25 carries, 73 yards, three touchdowns) and Bowens (16 carries, 58 yards) are the team’s fifth- and sixth-leading rushers, respectively.
Georgia defensive tackle Christen Miller, who sat out the eight-overtime victory over Georgia Tech last week because of a shoulder injury, also is listed as questionable to face the second-ranked Longhorns (11-1).
