Angel City FC lead the NWSL in team valuations for a third consecutive year, according to Sportico, reaching $335 million in Thursday’s new rankings.
That’s a solid return for an organization that paid only $2 million in entry fees to join the league in 2022 and has increased in value by 86% since 2023.
Rounding out the top five most valuable NWSL clubs are Kansas City Current at $315 million, Bay FC at $208 million, San Diego Wave FC at $200 million and the Washington Spirit at $196 million.
The average team value in the NWSL has jumped 77% since 2024 and now rests at approximately $184 million.
The combined value of the 14 teams in the league last year is $2.6 billion.
Beyond valuation, Washington achieved the highest year-over-year revenue growth of 66%, reaching $19.6 million.
TV viewership has continued to increase, with the current TV package (before expenses) valued at $60 million annually, forty times higher than before.
The only mixed news is at the turnstiles, where some clubs experienced a significant enough drop in attendance to affect the league’s overall figures, which are down 5%.
