Angel City FC announced the signing of 2024 SEC Midfielder of the Year Macey Hodge on Monday.
The Mississippi State standout agreed to a two-year contract that includes a club option for 2027.
Hodge tallied five assists in 97 career matches with the Bulldogs, including two assists in 21 matches as a 2024 team captain.
“We are thrilled to welcome Macey Hodge to Angel City FC,” ACFC technical director Mark Wilson said. “A dominant force in her conference, Macey’s intensity and drive in the midfield for Mississippi State were both eye-catching and impactful.
“… Macey embodies the profile we seek on and off the field, and we are excited for the impact she will make in our environment.”
An All-American and All-SEC selection, Hodge helped Mississippi State compile a 19-3 record and earn a No. 1 seed in the 2024 NCAA College Cup tournament.
