Colorado Avalanche forward Miles Wood is considered month-to-month with an upper-body injury, coach Jared Bednar announced.
Wood was placed on injured reserve Thursday, one day after he logged 10:43 of ice time and registered one hit in Colorado’s 2-1 shootout win against the Vegas Golden Knights.
Wood, 29, has totaled three points (two goals, one assist) in 16 games this season.
He has totaled 177 points (89 goals, 88 assists) in 492 career games with the New Jersey Devils (2015-23) and Avalanche.
