The Chicago Blackhawks acquired forward Rem Pitlick from the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday in exchange for a conditional seventh-round pick in the 2026 NHL Draft.
Pitlick, 26, has totaled 54 points (21 goals, 33 assists) in 123 career games with the Nashville Predators, Minnesota Wild and Montreal Canadiens. He has 24 points (eight goals, 16 assists) in 32 games with Wilkes-Barre Scranton of the American Hockey League this season.
With the deal, the Penguins now have nine picks in the 2026 NHL Draft. Pittsburgh owns all seven of its selections in the draft as well as Chicago’s conditional seventh-round pick and an additional third-round choice acquired as part of the trade involving defenseman Erik Karlsson with the San Jose Sharks on Aug. 6.
