Blue Jackets coach Brad Larsen away due to death in family

Columbus Blue Jackets head coach Brad Larsen will be away from the team due to a death in the family, the team announced Sunday.

Associate coach Pascal Vincent will lead the Blue Jackets (21-40-7, 49 points) in Sunday’s game against the host Vegas Golden Knights (42-21-6, 90 points).

Larsen, 45, has guided Columbus to a 58-78-14 record in 150 games during his two seasons at the helm.
