The St. Louis Blues signed forward Sammy Blais to a one-year contract extension worth $1 million on Thursday.
Blais, 26, returned to the Blues in the February trade that sent forward Vladimir Tarasenko and defenseman Niko Mikkola to the New York Rangers.
Blais has eight points (two goals, six assists) in 49 games this season with the two clubs.
Blais played in four seasons in St. Louis before being traded to New York in the July 2021 deal that brought Pavel Buchnevich to the Blues.
Blais has 47 points (19 goals, 28 assists) in 182 career games.
