The Vegas Golden Knights did not offer any update on the status of defenseman Brayden McNabb for Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final against the Carolina Hurricanes.
In Game 2, McNabb was struck in the face by an 87-mph shot by Hurricanes forward Nik Ehlers. He was transported to the hospital.
Although there is no formal update on the 35-year-old veteran, his teammate Shea Theodore stated McNabb was present at the team’s practice facility on Saturday.
McNabb appeared in 63 games for the Knights this season, recording five goals, seven assists and a plus/minus of +2.
Game 3 will commence on Saturday night at 8 p.m. ET. The series is tied at 1-1.
