Brayden Schenn scored the winning goal with 1:33 left to lift the St. Louis Blues past the visiting Vegas Golden Knights 4-3 on Friday afternoon.

Alexey Toropchenko and Oskar Sundqvist had a goal and an assist for the Blues, who snapped a two-game losing streak.

Justin Faulk also scored for St. Louis. Pavel Buchnevich and Mathieu Joseph had two assists, and Joel Hofer made 21 saves.

Keegan Kolesar, Mark Stone and Pavel Dorofeyev scored for the Golden Knights, who have just one victory in their last eight games.

Carter Hart made 15 saves for Vegas. Jack Eichel returned after spending seven games on the injured list and was held without a point.

After the Blues killed off an early penalty, Hart stopped Jordan Kyrou’s penalty shot at the 3:44 mark.

Kolesar put Vegas up 1-0 midway through the first period by taking a pass from Colton Sissons and beating Hofer on a clean break-in from the right wing.

Toropchenko tied the game 1-1 just 27 seconds later by leading a 2-on-1 rush up the left wing and jamming his own rebound through Hart’s pads.

The Blues scored two quick goals early in the second period to take a 3-1 lead.

After Tyler Tucker fired a shot on goal, Buchnevich sent a pass from the left corner to Faulk moving in through the right circle for the go-ahead goal.

Just 58 seconds later, Sundqvist gave the Blues a two-goal lead. Toropchenko pushed the puck up the left wing, then Sundqvist shoveled the puck toward the net and swooped in to convert the carom.

The Golden Knights cut the lead to 3-2 after Brett Howden knocked down an outlet pass and shot from the high slot. The puck bounced to Stone at the left post for a tap-in.

Dorofeyev tied the game 3-3 with 11:39 left to play by slicing in from the left wing and tucking the puck inside the left post.

But the Blues scored the winning goal off the skate of Schenn, who drove the net after Jimmy Snuggerud shot on a 2-on-1 rush.
