New England (1-3) received a 5-yard TD pass from Brissett to tight end Austin Hooper with 12:05 remaining in the third. Hooper’s TD came after the 49ers fumbled away the second-half kickoff. Joey Slye’s extra point trimmed San Francisco’s lead to 20-10.
Slye kicked two field goals, including a 63-yarder as time expired in the first half. He also made a 54-yarder early in the fourth.
