Bryce Perkins threw for 200 yards and two touchdowns as the Michigan Panthers routed the visiting Memphis Showboats 27-9 on Friday.
Nate McCrary produced 60 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries for Michigan (3-1). Toa Taua added 10 carries for 53 yards and a score, and Jaylon Moore and Jalen Wydermyer made TD receptions. Perkins connected on 15 of 22 passes, and he was 1-for-2 on one-point conversion passes.
Deneric Prince opened the game with a touchdown for Memphis (0-4), but the Panthers dominated the rest of the way.
E.J. Perry (8-for-16, 74 yards, one interception) and Troy Williams (4-for-8, 13 yards) split the quarterback duties for the Showboats. Kwamie Lassiter II led Memphis with 33 receiving yards on three catches.
