Tampa Bay running back Chase Edmonds was activated from injured reserve on Wednesday and is available to play in Thursday’s game against the host Buffalo Bills.
Edmonds rushed four times for 20 yards in two games before sustaining a knee injury in Tampa Bay’s 27-17 victory over the Chicago Bears on Sept. 17. He was placed on injured reserve three days later.
Edmonds, 27, has 1,816 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns in 72 career games (18 starts) with the Arizona Cardinals, Denver Broncos, Miami Dolphins and Bucs.
Tampa Bay waived rookie cornerback Derrek Pitts in a corresponding move on Wednesday.
Pitts, 25, recorded two tackles in two games this season.
