Caitlin Clark will return to her alma mater when the Indiana Fever face the Brazilian national team in an exhibition game at Iowa.
The Fever announced Thursday that they will play Brazil in Iowa City on May 4. The school said ticket and broadcast information will be released next month.
Clark starred for the Hawkeyes from 2020-24, becoming a two-time national Player of the Year and the all-time leading scorer in Division I history before going No. 1 overall to the Fever in the 2024 WNBA Draft.
Her No. 22 Iowa jersey will be retired at Carver-Hawkeye Arena on Sunday after a game between the Hawkeyes and No. 4 Southern California.
Clark, 23, averaged 19.2 points, 8.4 assists and 5.7 rebounds during her WNBA debut in 2024, earning Rookie of the Year honors and spots on the All-Star and All-WNBA teams. She led the league in assists (337) and 3-point field goals (122) and played all 40 games.
